From Mâcon in the south to Chalon-sur-Saône in the north, this region will surprise you by its sense of welcome and dynamism.

 Saône-et-Loire stands out for its spirituality: from the famous Cluny Abbey, to Paray-le-Monial, not forgetting Autun, you will dive into the heart of Romanesque art.

 But above all, southern Burgundy is very active! It gives you the opportunity to practice your favourite sports, in particular walking, thanks to the many kilometres of pleasant “Voies Vertes” paths provided throughout the department!

 Finally, Saône-et-Loire is above all an area of fine food: here you can try Charolais beef and Bresse poultry, as well as Côte Chalonnaise and Beaujolais wines!
