Sparkling Burgundy

The Burgundy wine route goes through the Côte d'Or.
From
Dijon to Santenay, it’s a route full of delights: Chambertin, Clos Vougeot, Chambolle Musigny, Aloxe Corton, Volnay, Meursault, Pommard...
More recently, the Hautes Côtes de
Nuits and Hautes Côtes de
Beaune vineyards will surprise you with the typical nature and development of their wines produced from high growing but the same type of grapes (Pinot and Chardonnay), with the distinctive of the different land upon which they are grown. The Hautes Côtes and its escarpments are par excellence an area favouring
small red fruits, blackcurrants, raspberries and blackberries, which are used to make marvellous fruit liqueurs.
But Côte d'Or is also a region with a great diversity of landscapes:
Auxois and its verdant hills that provide pasture for white Charolais cattle.
Morvan, its magic, and its tough, hard working people.
Châtillonnais and its vast forest composed of fauna and flora perfectly preserved in its diversity from Celtic and Gallo-Roman times.

Seine et Tille, where water is everywhere, sacred in temples and churches, tamed in washing places and wells, rising here, disappearing
there.
Further south, Val de Saône awaits you, a place of river tourism and an anglers’ paradise.
And in all these different areas, there will always be a Logis de France to welcome you into its warm and friendly atmosphere, and help you enjoy that region’s local produce.
